New role for a growing Foundation that supports missions on a national basis. The Director of Communications will create and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that enhances awareness of its programs and funding opportunities.
Responsibilities include:
· Develop and execute a communication program including, branding, public relations, media relations and marketing
· Identify local, regional and national opportunities to promote the Foundation among target audiences
· Manage participation in conferences and other venues to elevate brand awareness
· Develop a comprehensive market intelligence plan to capture potential applicants and partners
· Select and manage vendors providing specialized services
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or marketing
· Minimum 5-7 years’ experience leading a comprehensive communications program
· Minimum 2-3 years of Leadership experience
· Strong understanding of digital and online media platforms and trends
· Excellent writing and presentation skills
· Strong analytical, project management and decision-making skills
