Excellent opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations of a growing, member focused credit union. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will oversee daily operations, establish the strategic direction of the organization and ensure the financial stability of the credit union. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Leading, guiding, and coaching a dedicated staff with an emphasis on providing the highest quality of member service
  • Develop, recommend and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Oversee accounting and all reporting activities
  • Ensure that all staff and board members remain current on all policies, laws and guidelines applicable to credit unions
  • Plan and oversee payroll and the employee benefits programs
  • Recruit, retain and develop staff
  • Conduct business development activities to promote growth and development of the credit union
  • Responsible for ensuring the credit union engages in regular strategic planning to ensure the future success and viability of the credit union
  • Minimum 7-10 years of leadership experience in the credit union or community banking industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Business management experience with strengths in lending, accounting, finance and marketing
  • Strong board and community relations experience
