- Support the organization's mission, vision, and values of providing a safe and caring environment for residents
- Lead the staff in all operational areas, while setting goals and expectations
- Ensure internal fiscal procedures and controls are in place, execute financial management and oversight
- Regularly provide financial and operating data to the board and provide recommendations to enhance productivity, efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain excellent resident services and high-quality care
- Build meaningful relationships with staff, stakeholders and community partners
- Maintain operational integrity and oversight through effective communication systems, reporting and organizational policies that are evaluated and updated regularly
- Collaborate with the board and partners to develop and implement strategic plans
- Foster a welcoming environment regardless of faith, ethnicity or ability to pay
- Bachelors degree in health profession, social work, management or related field. Master’s degree highly preferred
- Minimum five to seven years of nonprofit leadership as an Executive Director or CEO
- Firsthand knowledge of health and human services in addition to health and safety requirements of federal, state and local laws
- Strong work ethic with a high degree of energy and enthusiasm
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Comfortable with public speaking and being highly visible in the community
- Previous success in establishing relationships with individuals and organizations of influence including funders, partner agencies and volunteers in the Central NY community
Salary: $130k-$150k
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree
