Excellent opportunity to join the team of a premiere, multi-location distribution company.  The HR Business Partner will support multiple locations in Upstate NY in all areas of HR.  The ideal candidate will be an employee focused, hands on and innovative HR professional that will focus on company culture and fostering a positive work environment. Responsibilities include:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA. Develop and implement processes to monitor compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics, compliance requirements, and HR policies and procedures. Provide guidance to managers on effective employee relations practices.
  • Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters. Provide recommendations for resolution and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, compliance, and policy development
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, as well as HR best practices related to employee relations and compliance
  • Experience working with a large employee group in both union and non-union environments
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to make data driven decisions
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations on a weekly basis

Salary: $75k-$100k + bonus
