Great opportunity to join the leadership team of a growing healthcare concern.  The Director will lead the service delivery operations of the HR department including, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Employee and Union Relations, Training and Development, Performance Management, and HR Operations. The HRD is responsible for measuring, assessing, and continuously improving the HR department’s performance, embracing data, and using performance metrics to drive efficiencies.   Responsibilities include:
  • Act as a strategic partner, supporting Senior Leadership in the accomplishment of departmental business strategies and plans initiatives that attract and retain talent, develop employees, and leaders, and align with organizational goals and objectives. Serves as a first-line point of contact for senior leadership in all matters HR / Staff related.
  • Align the organization’s talent strategy with the recruitment and retention programs supported by the Talent Acquisition team; develops strategic workforce plans that meet short- and long-term human capital needs of the organization collaborating with the business lines’ management as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, talent review, and succession planning.
  • Oversees the Employee Health Services, Workers’ Compensation and Leave Management programs ensuring services provided are cost-effective, provide a positive experience for employees.
  • Support the Employee Relations team's continued collaboration with union leadership to maintain positive and productive relationships, resolution of employee grievances, contract negotiation, and contract interpretation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership across the organization, including clinical, IT, and operations, to identify training needs and create comprehensive learning strategies for clinical and non-clinical colleagues. Act as a partner to Director of Diversity and Inclusion to create a workplace that has Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging concepts ingrained in its fabric.
  • Establishes a culture of data-driven decision-making, providing insights to leadership. Works with IT to develop HR dashboards to measure organizational and HR team performance. Develop and lead the execution of an HR technology roadmap that supports improvements for employee and leader experience, improves efficiency and self-serving automation.
  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance for the company's approach and programs related to compensation (including salary, merit, bonus, and retirement plans) benefits, HRIS, Payroll, and Leave Administration, and Health and Wellness benefits and related programs. Develops, owns, and evolves the Compensation philosophy and programs, including both base and incentive compensation targeted at ensuring the organization is in a competitive position within the markets while maximizing engagement and retention.
  • Establishes and oversees the organization’s performance management strategy that uses a set of goals and rewards to encourage employees to deliver high levels of performance, and encourages employee engagement, growth, and learning.REQUIRED SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in organizational design, Human resource, business administration or related field
  • 7+ years in HR with proven career progression. Minimum three years of leadership experience; experience in a healthcare environment preferred
  • Experience leading the design, development, and execution of large-scale HR programs
  • Extraordinary communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to deliver compelling messages to all levels of staff and leadership.
  • Knowledge of employment & labor practices, including union relations and labor laws
  • Proficiency in HR ERP and supporting technology platforms and data analytics tools

Salary: 150,000- 180,000
