Director of Data Analytics

Role Overview: We are seeking a Director of Data Analytics to further develop our existing insights department and implement advanced analytics in the hospitality industry. This role involves creating industry and client specific reports including AI & ML driven predictive modeling to forecast consumption and inform supplier strategies. Collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and operators is necessary to create data-driven solutions that evolve existing reporting to enhance category performance and strengthen partnerships. This person will be the “expert” on client calls and fulfill monthly reporting requirements based on their brands and overall industry trends and must be comfortable with public speaking. This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to make an impact and shape the future of the industry.   Key Responsibilities:

• Predictive Modeling & Forecasting: Design and implement predictive models and advanced analytics using proprietary on-premise operator data and syndicated industry insights to forecast consumption trends, optimize product mix, and inform supplier strategy
• Data Pipeline Development: Develop scalable data pipelines that integrate various data sources from on-premise venues to generate actionable insights for supplier partners
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, supplier stakeholders, and on-premise operators to co-create data-driven solutions that enhance category performance and strengthen partnerships
• Data Visualization & Strategic Narratives: Translate complex data into visualizations and strategic narratives for commercial teams to identify opportunities and refine plans
• Experimentation & Measurement: Lead experimentation and measurement frameworks to evaluate the impact of supplier initiatives, continuously refining models to improve ROI

  Qualifications:

• Masters Degree or higher in Data Analytics or related field and over 8 years of experience in statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in AI & ML generated predictive analytics modeling development
• Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are needed
• Desire to personally do the work with alcohol industry leading Fortune 100 insights clients while also hiring additional analysts as the department grows under your direction
• Excellent communication skills
• Beverage industry experience is a huge plus – if not, a serious willingness to become an expert in the industry is absolutely required!

Salary: $110,000-$140,000
Educational Requirements: Masters degree or higher in Data Analytics or related
