We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist with an outgoing attitude for a well-known company in the Syracuse area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, sharing strong benefits knowledge, handling workers comp paperwork etc. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Duties:
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication between staff and management.
  • Administer FMLA and workers' compensation claims, providing guidance to employees on their rights and responsibilities.
  • Implement change management initiatives to support organizational growth and development.
  • Conduct HR sourcing activities to attract top talent for open positions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance across all HR practices.
  Skills:
  • Knowledge of FMLA regulations and workers' compensation processes.
  • Excellent employee relations skills, with the ability to mediate conflicts effectively.
  • Strong HR sourcing capabilities to identify potential candidates for recruitment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining confidentiality.

Salary: $55,000-$70,000
