Great opportunity to join the Leadership team of a growing healthcare organization.  The AVP will be responsible for leading a Development team focused on major gifts, corporate and foundation gifts, planned and annual giving and donor relations, in addition to developing and implementing a strategic growth plan. Responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with the VP to establish strategic growth plans and measurable goals
  • Leading the development team and implementing short- and long-term strategies relating to all areas of fundraising
  • Providing metric based reporting on programs and events
  • Creates and develops stewardship programs to recognize donors in meaningful ways
  • Fosters relationships with organizational and community partners
  • Provides guidance and staff development to the team and keeps abreast of best practices
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree. Master’s preferred
  • Minimum ten year’s experience in a professional fundraising role in healthcare or related field
  • Proven history of success in all fundraising programs, especially major gifts
  • Minimum five year’s experience managing and leading a team
  • Excellent presentation, communication, writing, relationship building and project management skills

Salary: $90k-$130k+ DOE
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree
